Kitchen & Plating HelperJob Description:
The Lemon Bowl is hiring a Kitchen & Plating Helper to support daily kitchen operations and assist with plating and packing of platters for home delivery and events. This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting a career in food/hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with basic food prep (washing, cutting, arranging ingredients)
- Assist senior staff in plating and garnishing food as per instructions
- Maintain portion sizes and presentation consistency
- Pack food items securely for delivery or event transport
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, plates, and trays
- Help unload and store grocery/vendor deliveries
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and plating station
- Support loading/unloading of platters and equipment during events
- Support general kitchen tasks as instructed by supervisors
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary; training provided
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to stand for long hours in a fast-paced kitchen
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/event days
- Physically fit and hardworking
