About Us:

Inaaya Doors & Furniture is a leading manufacturer of premium modular kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and customized furniture. We are looking for a proactive and honest Purchase Executive to strengthen our procurement team.

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing new vendors, negotiating the best prices, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in the furniture, plywood, or interior manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new vendors for furniture and interior raw materials.
• Procure materials such as:
• Plywood
• MDF
• HDHMR
• Particle Board
• Laminates
• Edge Bands
• Adhesives (Glue)
• Hardware & Fittings
• Veneers
• Acrylic Sheets
• PVC Sheets
• Aluminium Profiles
• Other furniture manufacturing materials
• Compare quotations and negotiate the best commercial terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on deliveries.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
• Build long-term relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain procurement records, quotations, vendor database, and purchase reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts teams.
• Ensure quality, quantity, and specifications match purchase requirements.
• Visit vendors when required for negotiations, quality checks, and relationship management.

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Vendor development and relationship management.
• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing materials.
• Cost analysis and price comparison.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and transparency in procurement activities.
• Preferred QualificationGraduate in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing for the furniture, modular kitchen, woodworking, or interior manufacturing industry.
• Experience with ERP/software for purchase management is an added advantage.
