About the role

 

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you collaborate closely with Principal Consultants, Solution Architects, and client technical teams to deliver structured engagements and provide responsive support during critical stabilisation windows. This is a client-facing, outcome-driven role that demands technical depth, clear communication, and a proactive support mindset. Along the way, you will get to:

• Deploy and configure Azure workloads and solutions within customer subscriptions, including infrastructure provisioning, networking, identity, and security baseline configuration 
• Interpret and execute deployment documentation, ARM/Bicep templates, and solution-specific configuration guides across a range of deployment patterns (Marketplace managed apps, custom IaC such as terraform or bicep) 
• Validate Azure Policy compliance, RBAC assignments, and networking prerequisites prior to and during deployment 
• Roll out and remediate security concerns such as Key Vault secrets provisioning, managed identity assignments, and service principal configurations as part of deployment workflows 
• Integrate deployed solutions with existing Azure Landing Zone constructs (management groups, policy assignments, log analytics, diagnostics) 
• Coordinate with multiple parties (Microsoft, ISV publishers, or third-party vendors) to resolve deployment-blocking issues

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience in enterprise or consulting environments 
• Demonstrated experience deploying and configuring Azure workloads in production, across one or more deployment patterns (custom IaC, Marketplace managed apps, migrations, or ISV solutions) 
• Strong proficiency with Azure CLI or PowerShell, and Azure Portal for infrastructure provisioning and troubleshooting 
• Working knowledge of Azure governance constructs: Management Groups, Azure Policy, RBAC, and Deployment Stacks 
• Experience with Azure Key Vault — secrets management, access policies, and RBAC-based access control 
• Understanding of Azure networking fundamentals: VNets, subnets, NSGs, Private Link, and DNS 
• Ability to read, interpret, and modify ARM/Bicep templates 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to produce client-facing documentation and present technical findings clearly 
• Exposure to Terraform for infrastructure automation 
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development and management 
• Familiarity with Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or containerised workload deployments
