Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. We need a senior data engineer preferably for Gurgaon or Chennai location. This role requires taking ownership of the development process, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The individual acts as the main liaison for the project, overseeing progress and addressing any challenges that arise to maintain smooth delivery and alignment with project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- The person to be flexible working in UK hours as well as India hours. Also, the person should be comfortable working 40 of the times from the office location.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within and across teams to enhance project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and application performance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
-Good knowledge on SQL, SSIS, Python for ETL, GCP, Snowflake, On prem cloud and AWS etc. The person should have exposure to do ETL in multi cloud setup.
- Experience with data pipeline development and management.
- Strong knowledge of database systems and data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to work with large-scale data processing frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data services and infrastructure.
- Competence in scripting and automation to streamline data workflows.

Additional Information:
