KPMG Resource Centre (KRC) provides audit support services to KPMG firms globally. These services include IT audits, data analytics, engagement support, transaction assurance and ESG, among others. The business supports multiple sectors through operations in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida and Mumbai.

Roles & responsibilities
Work closely with the Partner and Directors leading the Swiss and UK CLR practice, your role will include two broad focus areas:
Client Delivery
- Lead a portfolio of listed audit engagements, partnering closely with UK and Swiss Partners and KGS teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and timely audits.
- Direct IFRS/ISA and/or US GAAP/GAAS audits for complex multinational organisations.
- Review audit workpapers to ensure high standards of documentation quality, consistency, and compliance with auditing standards.
- Provide performance coaching, mentoring, and capability building across offshore teams to strengthen delivery and technical competence.
- Drive effective collaboration across onshore and offshore locations, coordinating deliverables and resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Contribute to internal training programmes and actively promote knowledge sharing across the practice.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement in audit delivery through the use of digital, analytical, and emerging audit tools.
Practice Development
- Provide support in people development, capability building, strategy, innovation, and audit quality across the UK CLR & Swiss practice and, where relevant, the wider UK CLR & Swiss team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key onshore member‑firm stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact.
- Lead audit quality initiatives and foster a strong culture of learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to and drive strategic initiatives linked to the “audit of the future,” identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Motivate, develop, and coach Senior Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers, and Seniors to deliver high‑quality outcomes and grow as effective leaders.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to the firm’s risk and compliance framework, developing mitigation plans for key business risks.
- Attract, develop, and retain high‑quality talent aligned to the firm’s growth and capability agenda.
- Champion a high‑performance culture and position KGS Audit as the clear choice for current and future talent.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
- In depth knowledge of external Audit for corporate and/or international clients.
- Led cross-border group audits, overseeing component auditors and ensuring adherence to PCAOB/ISA and IFRS/US GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments.
Preferred technical & functional skills
- Proven project management and leadership skills, including leading offshore teams and mentoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus

Educational qualifications
- Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA or CA)
- Degree in Commerce / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
- Other qualifications, if any (will be an added advantage)
Work experience
- 12+ years of experience within a Big 4 firm in a client‑facing and/or offshoring environment, with demonstrated experience serving both listed and private international clients.
- Prior experience in a Signing Director role with direct client‑facing responsibilities.
- 2+ years of international experience, gained through an overseas secondment or sustained work within an international operating environment.
- Recent audit experience delivering engagements under ISA and/or US GAAS and US GAAP at a Big 4 firm.
- Strong working knowledge and hands‑on experience with UK GAAP and IFRS and equivalent reporting standards.
- Performed and supported internal and external inspections; and clearly demonstrating individual’s role in receiving a Compliant rating.
- Supported and acted as key contributor in tender related activities
