Geo to be supported – Luxembourg
Work timings – 9:00 am to 5:30pm
Supporting audit engagement teams through the provision and coordination of core eight project management methodology
Engagement Planning (e.g. ensuring the engagement has appropriate end-to-end tier 1/2/3 plans to ensure activity can be executed and monitored at high level periodically).
PBM Tracking (e.g., validating PBM list and managing requests, ensuring PBM delivery is monitored against the plan, assisting the team to follow up in case of non-delivery; generally executed by India team).
Review Note Tracking (e.g. ensuring Review Notes are planned, coordinated and monitored against the plan; generally executed by India team).
KCw Tracking (e.g. ensuring progress through the file is coordinated and monitored against the plan; MI may assist in delivering the data).
Additional tasks include confirmation management, RM consistency checks, project code opening and monitoring, group audit coordination, visualization and dashboards, meeting coordination and minutes taking, preparing Board reports, tracking audit differences, and supporting management with issue logs and discussion items.
Engagement Finances (e.g. coordinating the Forward Planning (budget) production and submission, tracking actuals v budget, monthly cost to complete, tracking scope variation (SVT), monitoring codes, invoice coordination and follow up and advising engagement leadership as necessary).
Team Organisation (e.g. ensuring the team communicates and is organised effectively, with a RAID, RACI and other PM tools as appropriate to ensure efficient execution of work) Working with Engagement Leaders and Audit Managers, co-ordinating activities on the planning, scheduling and execution of audits to ensure KPMG planning requirements and deadlines are achieved, and Audit Quality standards and Service Level Agreements are met.
YE Debrief and Continuous Improvement (e.g. planning and conducting YE debriefs, capturing lessons identified, and ensuring they are incorporated in next year’s plan; conducting further CI activity as needed to remove waste (TIMWOODS) and save audit hours.
Managing to Plan (e.g. review / triangulate all tracking activity against the baseline tiered plans, managing risks and issues, taking action accordingly and advising audit leadership when there are deviations from the audit plan, delays in the timeline or equally opportunities to bring work forward.
Applying your knowledge and understanding of audit engagement teams, leadership and wider contacts in the execution of day-to-day support to ensure KPMG planning requirements and deadlines (eg. DPP planning milestones) are achieved, and Audit Quality standards and Service Level Agreements are met. Key activities include:
Stakeholder relationship management (e.g., ensuring effective communication is maintained throughout the project).
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders Senior Managers, Directors, Partners, project teams, and importantly, contacts in the Audited entity.
Deliver PM training to auditors, both generally (e.g. for Forward Planning), and including specific coaching / mentoring to nominated auditors in PM roles on other engagements in the department / sector / pod.
Holding Audit Managers/Senior Managers to account for the delivery of their audits.
Working with Audit Managers to optimize the use of resources, including KPMG Global Services (KGS) offshore staff, and improve efficiency in audit delivery.
Developing strong, trusting and credible working relationships with senior staff on engagements, Performance Group Leadership and other key business stakeholders where applicable.
Identifying opportunities to expand the provision of project management support to the Audit Practice through effective stakeholder engagement.
Delivering project management support to ongoing continuous improvement workstreams.

Educational qualifications
Post graduate degree from a reputed institute
PMP, CAPM, Prince 2 Certification will be an added advantage
Work experience
9 to 12 years of work experience in project management in a leading professional services firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, IT Enabled Services Industry) or existing PMO captive
