We are recruiting a Manager in the Quality and Risk Management team (QRM). This role is a core part of delivering our Trust and Growth strategy for the KPMG Ireland. As part of the first line of defense, this role ensures that risk and quality processes are effectively implemented, supporting client‑facing teams to deliver engagements that protect the firm’s reputation and risk posture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Lead and manage a high‑performing QRM team, setting clear priorities, delivery approach, and performance expectations.•Own the operating model for specific service lines, including program expansion, process improvements, and capability maturity.•Act as a trusted advisor to Partners, Engagement Teams, and onshore stakeholders on client and engagement risk matters.•Supervise end‑to‑end client and engagement risk assessments and manage escalations in collaboration with onshore SMEs.•Interpret and apply QRM policies, regulatory requirements, and sanctions frameworks to complex engagement scenarios.•Exercise sound judgement to resolve complex or grey‑area risks, balancing policy compliance with business context.•Own KPIs, governance, quality outcomes, and SLA adherence, ensuring strong oversight and reporting.•Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and enhanced risk methodologies.•Perform quality reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with QRM standards.•Build a strong risk‑aware culture and develop team capability through structured goals, feedback, and learning initiatives.

Educational qualifications

•Qualifications: Graduate or a post graduate degree from Tier

        1/Tier 2 institute

 

Work experience

•Postgraduate with 10+ years of experience and for graduate with

    additional 3 years of experience.

 

Mandatory technical & functional skills:

•Proven ability to run large team projects and managing risk assessment

     services

•Excellent writing and analytical skills with no grammatical errors
