Aladdin Platform Engineering
Aladdin Platform Engineering is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group’s Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm’s operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Aladdin Platform Eng- HS – Network Management is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.
Network Operations is responsible for managing the global network and security infrastructure. The team performs multiple operational tasks, projects and engineering aspects in routing, load balancing, monitoring and optimizing the network. Network Operations Center (NOC) is the foundation of the Global Network Operations team which provides active monitoring and remediation of incidents, alerts and any infrastructure stability issues. The team is also responsible for automation to quickly identify and resolve issues, Adapt AI‑enabled workflows and automation that reduce manual effort, accelerate triage, and support predictive operations.
As a Network Operations Engineer, you will:
- Provide 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware. Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA’s etc.
- Manage operational network maintenance activities and implement changes
- Provide monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
- Respond within standard published MTTA and MTTR
- Assist with root cause analysis of incidents
- Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis
- Assist in Alert noise reduction by introducing Automation
- Help with establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
- Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
- Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
- Complete Daily network checks and operational handover duties
- Participate in shift rotation coverage
- Deploy AI‑driven triage or anomaly‑detection capabilities to reduce investigation
- Use AI to generate first‑draft runbooks, RCA summaries, or dashboards, reducing drafting cycles
- Deliver ≥2 AI‑enabled automation uses cases (e.g., predictive alerting, intelligent routing)
- Demonstrate intentional, compliant AI usage
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
- Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and routing protocols
- Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
- Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
- Experience in scripting and programming skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is desirable
- Formal technical certification such as CCNA/CCNP
