The opportunity
Globally KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) provides large scale capabilities & technology via a network of global delivery centers to optimize how our professionals work together to deliver services to clients. It provides cost-effective, quality services to engagement teams in all member firms with an emphasis on enabling the rapid growth of Global Priority Solutions.
This position, Specialist – KDN Engagement Performance Management, will be tasked to operationalize the Engagement Performance Management (EPM) workstream for KDN Central Commercial Hub (CH) and scale the CH to support KDN functions i.e., Advisory, Audit and Tax.
What you will do:
Establish a mechanism to drive transparency on KDN engagement profitability, enabling better decision-making and resource allocation across our DCs.
Standardization of the engagement performance management capabilities while incorporating the custom nuances of functions.
Streamline KDN Function specific Engagement Performance Reporting:
Optimize the preparation process for reports such as Engagement specific WIP reports, Earned Value Management reports, weekly and monthly reports.
Ensure that all necessary data is presented accurately, coherently, and professionally, to add value and take insightful decisions.
Assess the source data and Build Function-Specific Reporting Capabilities:
Assess the source data and create Extract, Transform and Data Loading (ETL) strategy.
Evaluate the unique reporting requirements for each KDN function.
Develop reports and analytics capabilities that align with the specific needs of each function, enhancing decision-making and insights for stakeholders.
Create Reporting Library:
Build a comprehensive library of reporting templates that cater to various functions, providing a high level of customization, efficiency, and consistency.
Develop templates to operate effectively in either a client or KPMG environment, ensuring seamless integration and ease of use for users.
Analysis of data and provide feedback to other workstreams such as rate card and estimation based on the actual performance / efforts consumption.
Usage of tools such as xls, estimation templates, SharePoint or PowerBI.
Ensure there is mechanism to track estimates against actual efforts and close feedback using continuous improvements.
Aligning with overall KDN compliance, support KDN functions.
Interact and seek clarifications from functions teams on the assigned reporting requests.
Maintain and manage all reporting templates.
Build automation into the standard preparation process to improve efficiency.
Ensuring highest quality and timely delivery of multiple tasks efficiently within agreed SLA and timelines.
Receive transition of existing practices related to engagement performance management.
Train and support the team to uphold your guidelines to support large scale commercial hub operations.
What you bring to the role:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviors:
- 8 + years of strategic delivery, and operation analytics experience.
- Proficiency with using MS Excel, PowerBI, and SharePoint software.
- Good understanding of functional and technical requirements.
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills being able to express insights, both written and orally.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organization and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of business risks and audit risks.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in reporting / management / software engineering (or equivalent)
