Role

As the Process Excellence manager, you will be part of the EMBU function and will report to the CBO, EMBU.
This is a high-leverage, dual-mandate role reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer (CBO). The role will act as the CBO’s strategic partner and executive operator for driving executive cadence and priority management, while simultaneously leading Process Excellence (PE) to implement data-driven process optimization across all commercial and operational units. This role is critical to support in scaling our Electric 2-Wheeler business efficiently.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
A. Strategic Planning & Execution:
Strategy & Planning - Lead the annual and quarterly OKR/KPI definition process for the CBO’s organization.
1. OKR/KPI Achievement Rate for the CBO's functions.
2. Strategic Project Delivery (on-time, in-scope completion of projects).
Executive Management & Partnering with CBO - Own the CBO's operating rhythm -managing priorities, facilitating key executive meetings, and preparing Board/Investor communications.
1. Executive Meeting Efficiency (e.g., pre-read quality, decision closure rate).
2. Board/Investor Presentation Quality (CBO/CEO feedback score).
3. Partner with the CBO to manage daily engagements and productivity needs.
4. Ensuring efficient coordination across departments.

B. Process Excellence:
Process Transformation - Design, scope, and lead major cross-functional process improvement projects.
1. Improvement Project ROI/Impact (documented financial savings or quantified efficiency gains).
2. Average Process Cycle Time Reduction for targeted high-impact processes.
Performance Governance - Establish and manage the organizational performance tracking system (dashboards, metrics). Drive organizational accountability through data.
1. Key Process Metric Improvement (e.g., First Pass Yield, Sales Cycle Time, Service TAT).
2. Performance Dashboard Adoption & Accuracy (measured by usage/audit score).
Capability building & Change adoption - Support in building the internal capability of teams and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
1. Process Compliance Rate (post-implementation audit score for new SOPs).
2. Team Capability Development (certification numbers/training completion rate, etc.)

This role is critical to support in scaling our Electric 2-Wheeler business efficiently.

Academic Qualification & Experience

MBA from a top-tier institution is strongly preferred.
8 - 12 years of professional experience, including significant time in a Strategic Consulting firm, Process Excellence role, or in a Chief of Staff role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (Tech, Automotive, or EV preferred).

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Passion and experience in the electric 2-wheeler industry preferred.

Strong project management skills, creativity in problem-solving, and strong business acumen.

Executive Presence: Exceptional ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at the C-level, translating complex process data into clear business strategy.

Analytical Acumen: Advanced skills in financial modelling, data analysis, and performance tracking (KPI design and dash boarding).

Broad knowledge of processes, protocols, and procedures related to budget management, human resources, and risk management.
