Role Overview:
As a Senior Manager within our Programme Management team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering complex, large-scale transformation programmes for our clients. This position requires a highly experienced and strategic individual who can navigate diverse project landscapes, drive innovation, and foster best practices. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of critical initiatives, contributing significantly to client success and the firm's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of complex transformation programmes, encompassing areas such as Digital, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Financial systems, and other strategic initiatives.
Develop and implement robust programme management frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
Oversee programme planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPMG standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on programme strategy, challenges, and solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Programme Management function, identifying and implementing best practices, tools, and techniques.
Mentor and develop programme management teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.
Leverage and promote the use of advanced analytics and AI tools to enhance programme planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, driving efficiency and predictive insights.
Ensure adherence to KPMG's methodologies, quality standards, and ways of working, contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality client engagements.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their strategic priorities and identifying opportunities for further engagement.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communications effectively across all levels of the programme.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in leading and successfully delivering large-scale, complex transformation programmes across diverse domains including Digital, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Financial systems, and other enterprise-wide implementations.
Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects simultaneously within a programme structure.
Good to have Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and PRINCE2 Practitioner (or equivalent).
Demonstrable knowledge and practical application of AI tools and techniques to enhance programme management processes and outcomes.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in programme management.
Good to have: Prior experience or domain knowledge in relevant industry sectors (e.g., Financial Services, Government, Healthcare) that aligns with KPMG's client base.
A clear understanding of KPMG's ways of working, including our values, quality standards, and client engagement methodologies, is highly desirable.
