Regulatory Control Associate, AVP (9 Months)

What you'll do
As a Regulatory Control Associate, you’ll be providing assurance for regulatory compliance and monitoring. We’ll look to you make sure that home and host regulatory outputs are produced on an accurate and timely basis, including calculating and posting of all planned and ad hoc adjustments to the agreed timelines.
You’ll also be:
- Maintaining and enhancing interfaces and processes within regulatory reporting
- Preparing management reporting
- Producing and reviewing MI packs including business commentary for stakeholder signoffs
- Contributing in production of RWAs in accordance with Basel rules and the bank’s framework of RWAs
- Driving engagement surveys in your business area, and taking ownership for the design and delivery of necessary action plans to enhance engagement levels
The skills you'll need
You’ll be CA or MBA qualified with significant experience in financial services in a finance role. Along with this, you’ll have a broad understanding of market dynamics, products and the associated risks in a market and credit domain.
Additionally, you’ll have experience working with a financial institution or consulting firm in regulatory reporting with experience in Basel II, Basel III, COREP as well as prior regulatory submissions experience.
You’ll also bring:
- A good understanding on derivative products including concepts such as notional and MTM, counterparty credit risk, securitisation, market risk and value at risk
- You"ll work over projects and help diagnose and automate critical BAU’s
- You’ll be working fixed shift patterns of 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Knowledge of SAS, PRM or FRM
- Excellent communication skills
