About the role
The Vulnerability Management team is responsible for the proactive identification, analysis, reporting, and coordination of remediation efforts for security vulnerabilities and risks across the enterprise. We work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain a strong security posture, ensure compliance with industry frameworks, and reduce the organization’s exposure to threats.
Our services are delivered globally, remotely, and 24x7x365, leveraging Insight’s Global Delivery Network with personnel in India, North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.
As a Security Engineer II you will:
- Perform daily health monitoring of vulnerability management tools and promptly address reported issues.
- Conduct basic validation checks for reported vulnerabilities to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Generate and distribute scheduled posture reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate remediation efforts with Product Owners and Vulnerability Owners to ensure timely closure.
- Maintain status tracking of vulnerabilities and associated remediation activities.
- Prepare and deliver monthly compliance posture reports for leadership review.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in Vulnerability Management or similar security engineering role.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management and remediation coordination.
- Ability to perform validation checks and interpret vulnerability reports.
Experience in preparing compliance and posture reports for management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple remediation timelines
