Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Senior in the Pensions COE team. As a Senior of an engagement team, your responsibilities will include:
•Being active member to delivery quality audit deliverables of end-to-end audit engagements of international KPMG clients you are allocated.•Embrace and implement KPMG audit methodology to work on complex sections of the financial statements of audit engagements as per country specific statutory requirements and prepare and document accounting workpapers, control and audit findings•Plan and Perform risk assessments work, work with clients on PBC requirements, work assignments to engagement team members, Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved, etc.•Establish strong professional relationships with clients and engagement team members through regular connects and meetings.•Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with engagements teams on issues/meeting information, manage & track the open issues until resolved etc. while maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.•Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.•Build strong relationships with onshore department champions/other key contacts in the UK.•Identifying, researching and helping to resolve complex audit issuesMaintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)Preferred technical & functional skills
•In depth knowledge of Audit for corporate and/or international clients and knowledge of the financial services industry is a must.•Prior exposure to Asset Management, Pension scheme audits, Fund management sector will be an added advantage•Prior exposure to IFRS•Proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Educational qualifications
•Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification – Indian CA or ACCAWork experience
•3-4-year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients.Experience Level
