Senior Engineer - Mobile Testing

What you will do:

• Development of test scenarios following design and requirement documents to ensure intended behavior is verified.

•  Write automated integration and functional tests for native mobile/cloud applications.

• Interact with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner.

• Quickly process and assimilate procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required.

• Maintain, report test results, and investigate test failures.

• Perform manual exploratory testing as required.

• Provide detailed analysis of all testing carried out ensuring all defects are logged and managed correctly.

• Ensure tests are correctly traced to requirements.

• Able to manage test activities in medium to large projects.

What you will need:

Mandatory Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT or equivalent. 

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience with Automation testing Mobile applications, Microservice and Web.

• Knowledge of mobile hardware and software platforms 

•  Hands-on experience with at least one of the following automation frameworks

  •  Appium 

  •  Espresso/Compose Test 

  •  Selenium

  • Playwright

• Hands-on experience with XCUITest.

• Experience with automating testing from CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Fastlane or Azure DevOps.

• Experience in Test Automation Frameworks such as TestNG and Cucumber, with expertise in implementing frameworks like Page Object Model (POM) and BDD. 

Preferred Qualifications :

• Desire to learn, explore, and push team practices to modern standards.

•  Work within Continuous Integration environments.

• Independent contributor who requires less or little supervision 

• Clinical domain knowledge is preferable.

• Understanding of mobile interface guidelines
