Roles & responsibilities

Role Summary

The Consultant plays a key role in managing and stabilizing Procurement Operations Desk services, handling complex operational issues, mentoring junior team members, and driving service quality and continuous improvement. The role acts as a bridge between operations, clients, and leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Delivery

     •Manage complex procurement operations activities across end-to-end S2P processes.     •Lead/Manage supplier onboarding and catalog enablement activities.    • Act as point of support for escalations, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.    • Ensure consistent SLA, KPI, and quality compliance across assigned processes.

 

Stakeholder & Client Interaction

    •Serve as a key operational contact for client stakeholders and internal teams.     •Support service reviews, reporting, and operational governance discussions.      •Proactively communicate risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.

 

Team Support & Mentoring

    •Guide and mentor Associate Consultants and analysts.    •Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and cross-training activities.    •Process Excellence & Transformation Support       •Drive process standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives.    •Support transitions, tool enhancements, audits, and compliance activities.    •Contribute to continuous improvement projects and transformation initiatives.  

 

 

 

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

 

    •Post-Graduate/MBA preferred      •Graduate from reputed institute    •Any certifications on related technology/platform will be preferred.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

    •5–8 years of experience in Procurement Operations, Managed Services, or Consulting.    •Strong functional knowledge of S2P / P2P processes.    •Hands-on experience with procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.).    •Experience in handling escalations, reporting, and service delivery governance.
