Role Purpose 

This role will be responsible to ensure effective performance of formulated concurrent audit vertical strategies and processes, monitor compliance with regulatory audit regulations and evaluate the effectiveness of audit results in alignment with the overall organizational as well as functional objectives.

Role Accountability 

  1. Devise adequate execution strategy for completion of designated concurrent audits within stipulated time frame basis discussion with concerned process owners 
  2. Ensure end-to-end timely closure of audit activities
  3. Update Vertical Head about developments and progress of audit
  4. Prepare final concurrent audit updates for Audit Committee Board
  5. Follow up to close all the open observations as per ATR (Action Taken Report)
  6. Perform continuous monitoring of controls across allocated audit areas
  7. Prepare and update concurrent audit checklists based on discussions with concerned process owners
  8. Ensure compliance with the Audit Manual, Audit Checklist, Auditing Standards and Legal as well as regulatory requirements etc.
  9. Promote use of data analytics for audit findings, sampling and execution within the vertical
  10. Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines

Measures of Success 

  1. % of all the audits, follow-up audits, and report issuance completed within specified timeframes during the year / half year / quarter
  2. Number of defects highlighted
  3. Trend analysis and highlight cases for corrective action
  4. Closure of ATR observations as per defined TAT
  5. Timely and accurate updation of process documentation
  6. Process Adherence as per MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Deep understanding of Credit Card/Financial Services industry, its emerging trends, issues, challenges, key players and leading practices as well as regulatory and statutory compliance requirements
  2. Knowledge of processes/internal audit/risk/compliance activities

Qualification 

CA/ MBA / ICWA / CIA, or graduate with significant internal audit experience
