Key Account Manager – Business Development (AV Systems)
Location: Guwahati (North East) & Kolkata Industry: System Integration – Audio Video / Home Audio / Professional Audio Experience Required: 4 – 6Years Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional to manage key accounts and drive new business development across the North East and Eastern regions. The role involves expanding market presence in Audio-Visual system integration, home automation, and professional audio solutions within industrial and commercial sectors. Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow relationships with key clients across industrial, commercial, and institutional segments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in Audio-Visual system integration, home audio, home automation, and professional audio solutions across North East and Eastern regions • Act as the single point of contact for key accounts, handling end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, client meetings, solution presentation, negotiation, closure, and post-sales engagement • Understand client requirements and propose customized AV and integrated technology solutions in coordination with pre-sales and technical teams • Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly and annual sales targets through a mix of key account mining and new client acquisition • Build and maintain strong networks with consultants, architects, project management companies (PMC), contractors, and industry stakeholders to generate consistent business leads • Manage project pipelines including tenders, bids, and large-value opportunities, ensuring timely submissions and competitive positioning • Expand market presence by developing dealer/distributor networks, especially in the Northeast region, and strengthening brand visibility in key markets such as Guwahati and Kolkata • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge • Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, technical, and operations to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports, and provide regular business updates to management • Increase brand presence in key markets • Track competitor activities and market trends Key Requirements • Experience in AV System Integration / Pro Audio / Home Automation • Strong B2B sales and account management experience • Good understanding of AV technologies • Willingness to travel extensively Preferred Skills • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Ability to handle high-value projects • Target-driven and relationship-focused • Experience in tenders/government projects is an advantage
