Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, maintain kitchen hygiene standards, and assist in preparing high quality dishes efficiently. The Commis Chef will support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations while ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities•

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs

• Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen stations and equipment

• Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines

• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to restaurant standards

• Store food properly and monitor stock rotation (FIFO method)

• Help with inventory management and inform seniors about stock shortages

• Maintain discipline and teamwork inside the kitchen

• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations

• Assist during busy service hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field

• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory
