Job Description: Social Media and Operations Manager
Bimbans Homestays (Part of the JNM Group) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Social Media and Operations Manager. This role is crucial for driving the online presence of Bimbans Homestays and all JNM Group companies, while simultaneously ensuring smooth, excellent guest experiences across Bimbans Homestays properties. This dual role requires a blend of multi-brand creative marketing, meticulous operational oversight, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Marketing (60%) - Focus on Bimbans and JNM Group Companies
Multi-Brand Content Strategy & Creation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple brands (Bimbans Homestays and all other JNM Group companies) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive conversions where applicable.
- Create, curate, and schedule visually appealing and engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels, posts) tailored to the specific brand voice and audience of each JNM Group entity.
- Ensure all content is on-brand and write compelling copy for all platforms.
Community & Reputation Management:
- Actively monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and reviews across all JNM Group company social profiles in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster an engaged online community for each brand and manage online reputation proactively.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (reach, engagement, conversion) for all JNM Group brand profiles.
- Provide regular, consolidated reports to management, utilizing data to refine strategies for each brand.
- Manage and optimize small-scale digital advertising campaigns for specific brand objectives.
Website & Listings (Bimbans Focus):
- Maintain and update content on the Bimbans Homestays website and third-party listing platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com) to ensure accuracy and optimization.
Operations & Guest Relations (40%) - Focus on Bimbans Homestays
Booking & Guest Management:
- Manage the end-to-end booking process for Bimbans Homestays, handling inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.
- Ensure all guest communication, from initial inquiry to post-stay follow-up, is professional, prompt, and informative.
- Coordinate with on-site staff (housekeepers, property managers) to guarantee seamless check-ins, guest services, and check-outs.
Quality Control & SOPs:
- Implement and maintain high standards for property presentation, cleanliness, and guest amenities.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key operational tasks at the homestays.
Inventory & Procurement:
- Monitor and manage inventory of guest supplies and amenities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and stock levels.
- Coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs promptly to minimize guest disruption.
Financial Administration:
- Assist with tracking expenses, processing payments, and compiling basic operational reports related to the homestays.
- Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Proven 2+ years of experience in a similar role encompassing multi-brand social media management and operations, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or short-term rental industry.
- Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of all major social media platforms and proven ability to manage and differentiate content strategies for multiple distinct brands.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in [Specify Language(s) - e.g., English and local language].
- Organization & Detail: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing simultaneous projects across both the marketing and operational sides of the business.
- Tech Savviness: Proficient with productivity software (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office) and experience with PMS/Channel Management software is a strong plus.
- Attitude: Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality and brand building.
