Waiter

Job Summary:

The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests in the hotel or restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Present menus and explain dishes, offers, and specials
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction during their meal
• Handle customer complaints politely and inform management if required
• Prepare and maintain tables (cleaning, setting, clearing)
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service
• Process bills and handle payments
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a waiter/server (hotel or restaurant preferred)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Polite, attentive, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to stand for long hours and work in shifts

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12th pass/Graduate
• Hospitality training or certification is an advantage
