Job Description

  • Dispensing medicinesAccurately fill prescriptions as per doctor’s orders
  • Ensure correct dosage, labeling, and instructions
  • Patient counselingExplain dosage, timing, side effects, and drug interactions
  • Guide patients for safe medication use
  • Prescription reviewCheck prescriptions for errors or drug incompatibilities
  • Coordinate with doctors if clarification is needed
  • Inventory & stock managementMaintain medicine stock, expiry tracking, and storage conditions
  • Handle procurement and daily stock verification
  • Billing & pharmacy operationsProcess billing for medicines
  • Maintain records and follow SOPs of the clinic/pharmacy
  • CollaborationWork with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff for patient care
  • Support treatment planning and medication therapy
  • Drug information servicesProvide accurate drug information to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Stay updated on medicines and regulations
