Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting and Testing: Conducting visual examinations and functional tests on raw materials and finished goods.
- Measurement: Using precision instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers) to measure dimensions and performance against blueprints.
- Monitoring Processes: Reviewing production processes to ensure they stay within acceptable tolerances.
- Documentation: Recording test data—including weight, temperature, and moisture content—to create comprehensive quality reports.
- Defect Handling: Identifying, documenting, and rejecting defective items, while ensuring they are removed from the production line.
- Reporting and Improvement: Reporting findings to production supervisors and recommending adjustments to improve quality.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
