Job Title: Store Supervisor
Reports To: Store Manager
Job SummaryA Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and achieving sales targets. The role involves supervising employees, resolving customer issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support store staff during daily operations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Assist with employee scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Monitor sales performance and help achieve store targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and stock counts.
- Ensure cash handling procedures and financial transactions are accurate.
- Enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and security procedures.
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance as required.
- Open and close the store according to company procedures.
- Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
