Analyst, System Testing - SAP

The System testing Analyst analyzes requirements, and develop and execute manual test scripts for applications across test, and UAT environments. This position will also execute automated regression tests to verify business and technical requirements have been met. They will work with business, functional analysts and Technology departments to create the overall test strategy and carry development through testing life cycle. They will also maintain regression test suit, smoke test suit and execute then as per the testing time lines and ensure product quality and client satisfaction. SAP FICO, SD and SCM business process knowledge and knowledge on Automation tools.

 Duties & Responsibilities

• Thorough exposure across all levels of Software Testing life cycle.
• Exposure to SAP Hana and Fiori apps testing
• Experience in all levels of testing including Smoke testing, Integrated System testing, Regression testing and User Acceptance testing (UAT)
• Should have exposure on test management tools like DevOps, Tosca, JIRA etc
• Should have experience in Test plan creation
• Should have knowledge on ‘Black box techniques’ and ‘White box techniques’ in preparing test cases
• Should have experience in Test Case/Test Scenarios Creation,  Test Case Execution, Test Data Preparation, Test Environment Setup.
• Should have knowledge on requirement traceability.
• Defect life cycle (Defect logging & Defect Verification)
• Should have exposure in preparing testing metrics.
• Having hands on Knowledge on Tosca automation tools
• Able to run the Automation Regression suite on periodical basis on Automation tool and fix the errors/code as per the change in process when required
• Execute automation regression tests to ensure business and technical requirements traceability and complete test coverage.
• Coordinating with functional teams belonging to Sales, Operations, HR, and Finance to resolve defects and closed within the required timeframe and ensuring that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy
• Able to handle the administration and configuration activities and manage automation and supportive testing tools (Solution Manager Test management, DevOps, ALM, Tosca).
• Partner with the Functional teams to ensure that existing test scripts are developed or modified to cover new functionality and/or enhancements 
• Adapt to the needs of the team to coordinate testing across multiple application areas.
• Provide project status reports, with supporting regression testing metrics on a regular basis.
• Assist with creating and maintaining automation support documents surrounding standards, policies, and procedures
• Attend project requirement and project review meetings as required
• Demonstrating strong business understanding and suggest test solution for various business scenarios
• Proven ability to work under stress in emergencies, with the flexibility to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously.
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, written & oral communication with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles, including vendors and IT-business personnel.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Preferably BE in related curriculam

• Experience in the related field and tools (Testing, basic SAP business Knowledge, Tosca)
