Application Engineering Manager, SAP, Finance Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience working with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, SAP S/4 HANA development including Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP).
• Experience writing SAP code, advanced ABAP object-oriented programming system, oData, Restful ABAP, Fiori, SAPUI5, CDS, Dialog (transaction) programming, enhancements (user exits, BADI, BAPI etc.) and interfaces (IDOCS, remote function calls, web services etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Domain understanding of extended workforce management, SAP FieldGlass or any related SAAS solution.
• Understanding of cross-functional and integrated business processes related to the SAP module, including integrations with extended business systems.
• Ability to strategically anticipate/prevent technical and organizational obstacles, as well as effectively reacting and addressing them after they arise.

The Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) Engineering team is a vital part of Google's success. They provide scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions and applications that Googlers need to effectively manage the end-to-end extended workforce (xWF) life cycle. The team is responsible for designing and developing solutions that future-proof Google's extended workforce business and operational requirements. The team also supports data and reporting solutions for informed decision-making while minimizing risk and maximizing compliance through system-level controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams and implement third-party applications specially SAP and integrations with home grown systems.
• Manage engineers working at scale building integrations and applications in the enterprise space.
• Implement SAP (S4/HANA) at enterprise scale.
• Design and implement the SAP ecosystem that meets the company's business requirements. Ensure that the SAP landscape is aligned with business strategy.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate those needs into SAP solutions.
