Job DescriptionTitle: Apprenticeship Operations (NAPS)

Summary:


The Apprenticeship Operations (NAPS) role is essential in ensuring the seamless and compliant onboarding and management of apprentices under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of apprenticeship registrations—from initial enrolment to contract activation and ongoing support—ensuring strict adherence to government portal requirements. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between the institute and apprentices, promoting transparency, accuracy, and engagement through effective communication and meticulous documentation. By maintaining real-time tracking, generating actionable reports, and delivering localized support in the regional language, this role plays a critical role in advancing skill development and employment outcomes under NAPS.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage end-to-end registration of apprentices on the apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal.
  • Generate and activate apprenticeship contracts in compliance with NAPS guidelines and timelines.
  • Conduct thorough verification of apprentice KYC documents, including Aadhar, bank details, and educational certificates, to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Maintain a precise and error-free MS Excel tracker for attendance records and contract status updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices, resolving queries related to contracts, portal access, and NAPS benefits.
  • Communicate with apprentices in the regional language to ensure clarity on apprenticeship terms, rights, and program benefits.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly MIS reports on enrolment trends and operational performance.



  • RequirementsTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data cleaning techniques.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Hindi (written and verbal).
  • Regional Language Proficiency: Essential ability to communicate effectively in the regional language for candidate counselling and on-site coordination.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, close attention to detail, and the patience required to support diverse apprentice queries efficiently.
