Article Assistant

Position: Paid Assistant / Article AssistantPosition OverviewWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paid Assistant (1–3 years of experience) or Article Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Indian statutory compliance, taxation, and auditing standards.

This role offers hands-on exposure to audit assignments, tax filings, and financial compliance, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to clients, particularly in the construction and real estate sectors.

• Key Responsibilities1. Auditing & AssuranceAssist or lead:
• Statutory Audits
• Tax Audits
• Internal Audits
• Prepare audit checklists and verify vouchers
• Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards (AS)
• Conduct:
• Physical stock verification
• Fixed asset reconciliation (especially for infrastructure & RMC projects)
• 2. Direct & Indirect TaxationIncome TaxCompute total income
• File ITRs (individuals, firms, and companies)
• Handle TDS compliance (Sections 194Q, 194C, etc.)
• File quarterly TDS returns
• GSTManage end-to-end GST compliance:
• GSTR-1
• GSTR-3B
• Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation
• Assist in filing annual returns (GSTR 9 / 9C)
• RepresentationDraft responses to scrutiny notices
• Assist in assessment proceedings
• 3. Financial Reporting & ComplianceFinalize financial statements:
• Balance Sheet
• Profit & Loss Account
• Maintain books of accounts using TallyPrime
• Ensure timely filing of ROC forms and other statutory documents
• Required Skills & QualificationsExperience1–3 years of post-article experience
• OR Fresher (for Article Assistant role)
• EducationCA Inter (Semi-qualified / Qualified)
• OR B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Technical SkillsStrong working knowledge of:
• TallyPrime
• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)
• Familiarity with:
• Income Tax Portal
• GST Portal
• MCA Portal
