Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Tailor/Stitching Executive to stitch garments accurately according to design specifications and customer requirements. The candidate should ensure high-quality finishing, timely delivery, and maintain workplace discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stitch garments as per measurements, patterns, and designs.
- Operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
- Perform alterations and adjustments when required.
- Check fabric quality before stitching.
- Ensure proper fitting and finishing of garments.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Meet daily production targets and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding design and production requirements.
- Report any machine issues or material shortages promptly.
Requirements: Minimum 1–3 years of tailoring/stitching experience.
- Knowledge of garment construction and fabric handling.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
- Attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills: Boutique or garment industry experience.
- Ability to stitch women's wear, kids wear, and customized garments.
- Basic knowledge of cutting and measurements.
