Cloud Operation Analyst

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures

• Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements 

• Meet or exceed all performance expectations 

• Proactively monitor and manage cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Investigate and resolve operational incidents, including root cause analysis. 

• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell). 

• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure stable and secure cloud deployments. 

• Maintain and update cloud documentation and operational procedures. 

• Participate in on-call rotations as a primary responder.

 
Required Job Skills & Qualifications

• Solid experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., EC2, S3, Azure VMs, GCP Compute). 

• Proficiency in scripting for automation and task management. 

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver). 

• Good understanding of networking, security best practices, and incident management. 

• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
