Job Description

Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, calibrate, and operate Makino F3 and PS105 VMCs to execute high-precision machining sequences based on engineering drawings and 3D models.

 Workholding & Alignment: Select, install, and align correct workholding devices, fixtures, and raw blocks. Assemble, pre-set, and load cutting tools into the machine magazine.

 In-Process Inspection: Monitor machining processes continuously. Conduct first-off and in-process dimensional inspections using micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and slip gauges to maintain tight tolerances (often within microns).

 Machine Maintenance: Perform daily preventive maintenance, including checking oil/coolant levels, maintaining waypoint lubrication, and clearing chips to ensure the machine geometry remains pristine.
