Job Description
Contact & Negotiation: Initiate calls, emails, and site visits to borrowers, negotiating payment plans or settlements.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal regulations (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - FDCPA or RBI guidelines in India) to avoid harassment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of all client interactions, payment commitments, and account updates in the database.
Skip Tracing: Locate borrowers who have moved or failed to respond to initial communication.
Reporting: Prepare daily or weekly reports on collection status and performance metrics to management.
Problem-Solving: Resolve debtor queries and educate them on their loan terms.
