Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. Throughout the day, the engineer focuses on coding, testing, and refining software modules to meet specific organizational goals while maintaining high performance and reliability across platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Liaising with the customer technical representatives, Provide recommendations to client on deployment of new features.
-Create and Manage requests on Service now Jira.
-Implement the changes as applicable part of database administration and handover to customer.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within project workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
-Should have supported PROD DB Maintenance, have performing Database transitions / transformations.
-Good understanding of procedures, T-SQL Scripting, PowerShell, windows administration, Good Communication skills, application knowledge and concepts within own subject area and understanding.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and security management.
- Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application requirements.
- Ability to monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for database systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
