Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The position demands continuous collaboration and iterative development to ensure the applications align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. The engineer actively participates in refining processes and adapting applications to evolving business demands, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance throughout the software lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Document technical specifications and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding project requirements and technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Recruiting.
- Experience with configuring and customizing Workday Recruiting modules to align with business workflows.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and integration.
- Familiarity with data migration and validation techniques within Workday environments.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Recruiting.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
