Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes actively participating in the design and customization of software to align with business process requirements and application needs. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that software configurations are implemented effectively and meet organizational objectives. The engineer continuously monitors and adjusts configurations to support seamless software performance and integration within the business environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software configuration with business goals.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of configuration management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to optimize software customization processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture, AWS Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system architecture and command-line tools.
- Experience in managing software deployment and patch management on Linux platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
