Project Role : Data Governance PractitionerProject Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing policies that safeguard the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the organization. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and uphold data standards. The practitioner facilitates efficient processes for data collection, storage, access, and usage, while actively promoting data stewardship initiatives. Through these efforts, the role ensures that data governance is comprehensive, effective, and aligned with organizational objectives, contributing to a culture of responsible data management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Support the continuous improvement of data governance frameworks and practices.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with data governance policies and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and implement remediation strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance.
- Experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data governance frameworks.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication to drive governance initiatives.
- Familiarity with data quality assessment and improvement techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Collibra Data Governance.
- This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
