Role description:
We are looking to hire a bright, smart and passionate “Data Scientist” who shall be working with our Intelligence
practice team. The selected candidate would work with our global and local teams supporting Project Managers
& Product Leads in analytical solutions for complex problems and integrating those solutions and Business
Intelligence tools with the application softwares.

Role accountabilities:
The candidate shall have knowledge and experience in handling huge data sets, developing complex data visualizations,
establishing data models in Python, R, performing data analysis for drawing interesting trends and interpretations.
The responsibilities shall be related to identifying the right data, based on the requirements defined, gathering the
sources of raw data, filtering, cleaning, structuring of the data and performing sound statistical and mathematical
analysis/exploration on structured and unstructured data. This shall include building visualisations in Tableau/
PowerBI along with data modelling in Python, R, TensorFlow, etc.
The candidate is also responsible for acquiring primary and secondary data from different sources and creation &
upkeep of Data Governance and Data Quality framework to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data updates.
The candidate shall be guided by a team of experts who have worked extensively in our Intelligent Transportation
Systems and Intelligence practice, software developers, engineers and database experts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
• Thorough knowledge of Statistics, distributions, modeling techniques, related tools to analyze large sets of data to build statistical/econometric models
• Hands on experience on AI/ML/DL with deep understanding of basic concepts behind them
• The candidate should be able to handle descriptive & predictive data analytics
• Working knowledge of developing MIS report formats and Dashboards
• Hands-on experience in data analytical & visualization tools such as R, SPSS, Tableau/ Power BI
• Knowledge and experience with any open source tools in data analytics and integrations of them is beneficial
• Knowledge and working experience in connection with databases such as SQL/ Oracle/ Postgres, etc. and ETL frameworks.
  Knowledge and experience of Python, R , R Shiny or data modelling tools like Tensor Flow etc.
• Knowledge and experience with in building data models such as ANN, GA etc.
• Good to have experience on cloud applications (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Good professional proficiency in English
• Good documentation/ writing and communication skills
• Willing to work across time zones with global teams
• Should be willing to explore and learn new skills
• Take up work and deliver under pressure respecting deadlines
