Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.
Must have skills : Oracle Applications DBA
Good to have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : BTech or MTech or MCA with IT or CSE or EEE or ECE 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves managing and supporting database environments to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. This role includes overseeing the installation and configuration of database management systems, maintaining backups and recovery processes, and collaborating with various teams to address database-related challenges. The position requires continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of databases to meet evolving business needs, along with documenting procedures and contributing to the enhancement of database operations. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining data integrity and availability across multiple projects or clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain and update documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in database administration tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA, Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Experience in database installation, configuration, and patching activities.
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery techniques to ensure data protection.
- Ability to perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with database security management and user access controls.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A BTech or MTech or MCA with IT or CSE or EEE or ECE is required.
