Job Description
A Diagnostic Centre Front Office Executive serves as the first point of contact, managing patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing, and inquiry management. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with an emphasis on empathetic patient service, confidentiality, and coordinating with technical staff for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Registration & Check-in: Welcoming patients, updating personal and financial info, and managing patient flow.
- Appointment Management: Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments for various diagnostic tests (MRI, CT, lab tests).
- Billing & Payments: Preparing invoices, collecting payments, processing insurance, and managing cash handling.
- Inquiry & Communication: Answering phone calls, handling queries about tests, and directing inquiries to appropriate departments.
- Coordination: Coordinating with radiologists, technicians, and staff to ensure efficient services.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintaining accurate patient records, reports, and daily MIS reports.
- Reception Maintenance: Keeping the front desk organized and maintaining an inventory of stationery/necessary supplies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Empathetic, polite, and patient-centric attitude.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma, with 1–3 years of experience, ideally in healthcare or hospitality
