Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, payroll processing, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho tools and a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting practices. This role requires close coordination with internal teams and external Chartered Accountants for compliance and annual filings.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee payroll processing using Zoho Payroll
  • Prepare and generate invoices in Zoho Books
  • Handle GST, TDS, and Professional Tax (PT) calculations, filings, and compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of expenses and reimbursements
  • Track and follow up on payment collections from customers
  • Coordinate with builders/clients for payment follow-ups
  • Process and manage vendor payments in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper accounting entries and reconciliations
  • Work closely with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for statutory compliance, audits, and filings
  • Assist in year-end financial closing and compliance activities
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to financial regulations



Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: B.Com (mandatory), MBA (preferred)
  • Preferred: Candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience working under a Chartered Accountant (CA) (including internship/articleship)



Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, PT, and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
