Hospital Pharmacist

The Hospital Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medications within the hospital. This role involves dispensing prescriptions, monitoring drug therapy, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and providing clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes.

• Key Responsibilities:



• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Monitor patient drug therapy for effectiveness, interactions, and adverse effects
• Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers
• Participate in clinical rounds and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Recommend appropriate drug therapy adjustments to prescribers
