Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Tax Analyst

Responsibilities:

· Compliance and Filing: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals or corporations to ensure they meet legal deadlines. · Tax Research: Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to provide guidance on their impact on business operations. · Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external tax audits and handle inquiries from tax authorities. · Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts and prepare tax provision calculations for quarterly or annual financial statements. · Strategy and Planning: Identify opportunities for tax savings through legal deductions, credits, and incentives.

Mandatory skill sets:

· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of tax codes, accounting principles (such as GAAP or IFRS), and statutory reporting. · Software Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Excel and specialized tax software like CorpTax, OneSource, or ERP systems like SAP. · Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate complex financial data to spot patterns and develop cost-saving strategies. · Communication: Translating complex tax principles into simple, actionable advice for non-technical stakeholders or clients.

Preferred skill sets:
