Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support.

Role Summary
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical applications and platforms. The SRE will work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to build resilient systems, automate operations, and drive a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of production systems.
Define, implement, and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for applications and services.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces).
Automate operational tasks to reduce toil using scripting and IaC tools.
Lead and participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post incident reviews.
Collaborate with development teams to improve system design, resilience, and deployment practices.
Support CI/CD pipelines, release engineering, and safe deployment strategies.
Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive risk management.
Ensure security, compliance, and operational best practices are followed.
Document operational processes, runbooks, and recovery procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, Java).
Hands on experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, AppDynamics, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
Understanding of networking fundamentals, databases, and distributed systems.
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Good to Have / Preferred Skills
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
Knowledge of SRE principles including error budgets and reliability engineering practices.
Exposure to DevSecOps and security automation.
Experience supporting 24x7 production systems and on call rotations.
Financial services or large scale enterprise system experience is a plus.
