Insurance Agent/Advisor

Solana Insurance Agency is a corporate insurance intermediary providing tailored insurance solutions to businesses and individuals.

We are looking for an experienced insurance professional who understands both business development and relationship management. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with clients, coordinating with insurance companies, sourcing new business opportunities and supporting the end-to-end policy lifecycle.

This role requires someone who is proactive, organised and able to build strong relationships with both clients and insurer partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities through networking and field visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate and retail clients.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, underwriting and policy issuance.
• Follow up on renewals and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Keep accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
• Represent Solana professionally during client and insurer meetings.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in the insurance industry is essential.
• Experience in sales, business development or relationship management.
• Good understanding of insurance products and insurer processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English
• Experience working with a corporate agent, broker or insurance company.
• Own laptop is preferred.
• Own two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is required, as the role involves regular travel within Hyderabad.
• Good follow-up discipline.
