Jr. Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant with working knowledge of Tally to support day-to-day accounting and compliance activities. This role is ideal for freshers or junior candidates seeking hands-on experience in accounts, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally (Prime/ERP)
• Record daily transactions: purchases, sales, expenses, receipts, and payments
• Prepare and maintain GST data (sales, purchases, returns support)
• Assist in bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Handle vendor and customer ledger reconciliation
• Support preparation of monthly MIS reports
• Maintain accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants as required
• Ensure compliance with basic statutory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / Inter CA / Commerce Graduate
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Tally Prime
• Understanding of GST basics and accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills
• Good numerical ability and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience
• Freshers with strong Tally knowledge are welcome

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to manufacturing or trading accounts
• Knowledge of TDS, E-way bills, or compliance filings
• Experience working with auditors or CA firms
