KGS- SAP FI- Consultant

We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAP Finance (FICO) Consultant to support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions in enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration, a strong understanding of financial processes, and exposure to modern SAP tools such as SAP Activate, RISE with SAP, and SAP BTP.

JD for SAP S4 HANA FI – Consultant –

• Candidate must have 6-8 years of SAP FICO experience which includes S/4 HANA Finance Experience
• Must have at least 1 End to End implementation experience in S4 HANA
• Good understanding of Project System Module 
• Must have client facing role or directly interaction with client, taking requirements and delivering the solution 
• Cross module integration – P2P, O2C essential
• Good understanding of other SAP Modules, that directly or Indirectly deals with Finance and Controlling Module. 
• Should have profound knowledge on SAP FI - GL, AP, AR, Bank, Assets (must), Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Business Consolidation requirements, Central Finance, Middleware systems, Reporting requirements both Global and local (good to have)
• Executing SAP related engagements - requirements gathering, pre & post implementation review, BBP design and review, configuration review, program management engagements, project risk engagements, data migration engagements, segregation of duties design or review engagement.
• Also, should be aware of Various methods SAP projects transformations and implementations i.e. water Fall method, Agile Method, SAP Activate Method etc.

 

• Support the SAP FICO workstream in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Configure SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
• Assist in requirement gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, and preparation of functional specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT), data migration, and cutover planning.
• Work with technical teams to support the development and testing of WRICEF objects.
• Contribute to the adoption of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard approach.
• Provide post-go-live support and help resolve functional issues.
• Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA innovations and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of SAP experience with at least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation in the Finance domain.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and business process mapping.
• Good understanding of Universal Journal, Financial Closing, and Reporting in S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models.
• Exposure to cross-module integration with MM, SD, and PP.
• Basic understanding of SAP BTP, Fiori apps, and RISE with SAP is a plus.

 

Certifications

• Required: SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification 
• Preferred: SAP Activate Project Manager (Associate Level)

 

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (B.Com, B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc.)
