Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced candidate as Project Manager NPL – India.

Lead and drive New Product Launches for India market, from outsourced CMO partners, and In-house & Loan Licensing - plants to ensure on time launches and meeting targeted Cost. The role involves collaboration & co-ordination with various internal & external stakeholders for the successful & on-time launch of new products.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partner management & relationship building - Market Intelligence (new therapy indications, product development filing, IP landscape) & Supply agreements.
  • Partner strategy based on capabilities (platform & dosage), facility readiness, quality parameters.
  • Negotiate deals terms and finalisation commercial agreement with manufacturers / CMOs / product license holders for sourcing the product.  Ensure cost-competitiveness of the products sourced, identify cost-reduction opportunities, conducting periodic negotiations for launched products.
  • Track the progress of product development at IPDO and connect with CMOs / FTO’s for scale up / PV / Commercial batches execution. Co-ordination with Portfolio and Marketing team for Launch preparedness activities. Ensuring full kitting for execution of launch batches. Co-ordination with finance team for finalization of costing & approval. Ensuring release of Purchase Orders to manufacturing partners. Providing slots for execution of launch batches. Co-ordination with DRL EMQA (External manufacturing QA) for release of batches.
  • Interface between outsource partner and DRL technical teams for evaluation of product dossier. Facilitate for on time closure of gap for Product certification by IPDO team. Co-ordination with Portfolio and Marketing team Launch preparedness activities. Co-ordination with finance team for finalization of costing & approval. Ensuring release of Purchase Orders to manufacturing partners. Providing slots for execution of launch batches. Co-ordination with DRL EMQA (External manufacturing QA) for release of batches.
  • Co-ordinate with Logistics & CFA teams for allocation, distribution & availability of products being launched.
  • Ensure adequate Inventory to support business and avoid sales loss / write offs.
  • Co-ordinate with Legal & Finance to ensure requisite governance documentation approvals & sign offs.
  • Material master updation in software systems.
  • SAP knowledge.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

A graduate in science stream (preferably) with an MBA and 6-8 years of experience in Pharma Industry / Project Management / Business Development / Key accounts Management.
