Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Module Lead to oversee and manage delivery operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, ensuring the effective management of database administration tasks while leading a team to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to drive project success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the delivery team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Mainframe IMS databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Implement best practices for database management and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Conduct training and mentoring for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mainframe IMS DBA.
• Proficient in database design, implementation, and administration.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of IMS databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues effectively.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other database management systems.
• Experience in project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in database administration or project management are a plus.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a similar role.
