Job Description
A Marketing Executive for Nuclear Medicine is primarily responsible for driving business growth by building strong referral networks with clinicians, promoting specialized diagnostic scans (like PET-CT and Gamma Camera), and increasing patient footfalls.
Role Overview
- Department: Sales & Marketing / Business Development
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Target Audience: Oncologists, Cardiologists, Neurologists, Endocrinologists, and General Physicians
- Core Objective: To educate the medical community on advanced nuclear medicine capabilities and drive consistent patient referrals for diagnostic scans and therapeutic services
Referral Network & Relationship Management
- Physician Outreach: Conduct daily field visits to independent clinics, nursing homes, and multi-speciality hospitals
- Doctor Engagement: Build and sustain strong professional relationships with key referring clinicians
- Value Propositioning: Educate clinicians on the specific clinical benefits of our Nuclear Medicine services (e.g., PET-CT for oncology staging, Gamma Camera for myocardial perfusion or renal scans)
- Feedback Collection: Act as the primary point of contact for external doctors to gather feedback on report turnaround times and patient experiences
Field Marketing & Campaign Execution
- CME & Seminars: Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, clinical seminars, and interactive workshops for local physicians
- Community Outreach: Plan and execute community health camps, diagnostic screening drives, and awareness partnerships
- Marketing Material Distribution: Ensure the strategic distribution of clinical newsletters, case studies, and promotional pamphlets to target medical practices.
📊 Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Competitor Mapping: Track competitor pricing, promotional strategies.
- Data-Driven Tracking: Maintain a rigorous daily log of hospital visits, conversion tracking, and referral patterns using CRM software.
- Market Trends: Identify underserved geographical pockets or specific medical specialties to expand the center’s overall market share
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Biotechnology.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven field marketing experience in Nuclear medicine and diagnostics only .
- Scientific Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and comfortably discuss nuclear medicine concepts, radiopharmaceuticals, and imaging indications.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable two-wheeler for extensive daily field travel.
- Traits: Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working with monthly business development milestones.
