Key Responsibilities

Ø Design scalable network architectures using Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba hardware for client deployments.

Ø Install, configure, and test routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points on-site or remotely.

Ø Troubleshoot complex network issues for business-critical systems. - Perform security assessments and design the solution accordingly, including vulnerability scans and threat mitigation.

Ø Integrate servers with networks, supporting virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and hybrid cloud setups (Azure/AWS).

Ø Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions for optimised WAN connectivity across multi-site client environments. Conduct regular network audits, performance tuning, and firmware upgrades to ensure reliability.

Client-Focused Tasks

Ø Collaborate on pre-sales demos, proofs-of-concept, and solution proposals to win deals.

Ø Provide post-sales support, upgrades, and training for end users.

Ø Document configurations, create as-built diagrams, and maintain compliance standards.

Ø Optimise network performance through QoS policies, load balancing, and capacity planning.

Ø Assist clients with migration projects from legacy to modern networks, minimising downtime.

Ø Offer on-call support and SLAs for rapid issue resolution in production environments.

Ø Develop custom automation scripts (e.g., Python/Ansible) for repeatable client deployments.

Required Expertise - Hold CCNA/CCNP/Firewall certifications and have 3-4 years in networking, with VAR or MSP experience preferred.
